childhood

There are more than a few things that I am totally unaware of when it comes to childhood memories.  Since my parents didn’t really cook, most of them are food related.  Additionally, they leave Andrew speechless when it is revealed that I am utterly clueless.  His upbringing included A Charlie Brown Christmas, Chef Boyardee, Kraft macaroni and cheese, and an occasional evening at a restaurant. My childhood included summertime weeks in London, a different restaurant for every day, and sitcoms that my parents were watching.

Recently at a party, I was asked by my coworker for the name of Peppermint Patty’s friend — I didn’t know the friend, I didn’t know Peppermint Patty, and as a result, it was apparent I didn’t know Peanuts.  Or the Charlie Brown theme song.

Can I take a class in this?

Welcome!

This is a blog of Jenny and Andrew's adventures in the city. We live in Albany Park, Chicago, Illinois, and have decided to plot out and document our adventures. This blog was started Memorial Day, 2010 as a way to document our summer goals.
