There are no words for how much I’ll miss him. I first studied Twombly incidentally because he was once lovers with Rauschenberg. And his scribbles and influence were evident on Rauschenberg’s Bed, 1954. Bed, incidentally, has become the touchstone of Rauschenberg’s Combines and perhaps his most famous piece. Although I studied him as a footnote, I have come to love Twombly. Most recently, I saw his peonies in Munich. It was a very moving series of works.

Welcome!

This is a blog of Jenny and Andrew's adventures in the city. We live in Albany Park, Chicago, Illinois, and have decided to plot out and document our adventures. This blog was started Memorial Day, 2010 as a way to document our summer goals.
